have played a central role in organising FEM Conferences from the very beginning!
So if you're a student - make sure you get involved!
Mobilise
students to attend FEM 08
Publicise FEM 08 to fellow students by putting
up posters and giving out flyers (email katbanyard@yahoo.co.uk to request publicity).
You may also want to organise transport from your students' union. If there are
lots of you going it may be cost-effective to hire a mini-bus! Write
an article about feminism - publicising FEM 08 - in your student newspaper
Start
a discussion amongst your student body about the relevance of feminism. An upcoming
national feminist conference (featuring Germaine Greer!) is the perfect 'hook'
to base the article on. Make sure you let us know if you get an article printed

money for FEM 08
FEM 08 is organised by a group of volunteers and the
conference is funded entirely by donations. Help us cover conference costs by
raising vital funds. You could organise a gig, a raffle, or perhaps an easter
